Casting (5-step quality control):
All our cookware is cast by using the method of manual gravitational casting into a mould made from a special silumin alloy purchased specifically for this purpose exclusively from German foundries. These products are then individually hand crafted in technically demanding operations using state-of-the-art technologies.
For this reason it is not possible to prevent small inaccuracies namely during casting, cutting and grinding. For the final customer this partially uneven outer surface texture is a mark of true handmade quality. These features make our cookware stand out both in terms of quality and utility value from cheap mass-produced aluminium cookware, i.e. made on production lines by pressing, rolling and pressure casting.
Abrasive Blasting (2-step quality control):
Prior to the application of the top quality anti-adhesive film, the surface of the cookware is blasted with corundum in a special computer controlled high capacity blasting machine of our own unique design, which ensures that the cookware surface is optimally and evenly prepared with the objective of achieving the best possible adhesion of the ceramic film to the cookware's base material and to ensure the highest possible resistance against mechanical wear of the subsequently applied anti-adhesive layer.
Application of the Anti-adhesive Layers (6-8-step quality control):
In the subsequent high-precision process a food grade anti-adhesive layer, specially developed and tested for this purpose containing reinforcing ceramic with titanium, is applied to the inside (3 layers) and the outside (2 layers) surfaces of the cookware.
Forming the Base (2-step quality control):
Bases are machined using special diamond tools to achieve a surface for the optimal transfer of heat from its source to the cookware.
Final assembly, packaging and final inspection:
The cookware is fitted with 1 straight or 2 side handles, inspected, packed into PE plastic bags and placed in boxes.
Accessories:
Glass lids with a handle-knob are an integral part of the cookware. They are resistant to high temperatures (350°C - lid, 260°C handle-knob) and in combination with our cookware enable very fast and economical cooking, where the cooking process can be seen through the lid at any time. The arch shape of the lid and its special "lock" make it possible to optimally maintain and circulate hot steam, whereby pressure conditions are created for additional very gentle steam cooking of food, thus retaining all vitamins, minerals and nutrients. Meals cooked in this way remain juicy, very tasty and most importantly support a healthy diet!
